Nikon D5000 12.3 MP DX Digital SLR Camera is Great camera. If you are new to the DSLR game (like me) or you upgrade and you can pay cash, it's definitely worth it.

It is very concise, simple, and easy to use interface, the buttons are very well placed, and the swivel LCD is very nice and useful in certain situations. My main purpose for this camera still images so the video is cool and surprising bonus is better than I thought.

So far I love it. It is easy to use and great for those new to the DSLR world, but also packs enough punch for those looking to upgrade and will provide plenty of space newcomers to learn and grow with it.
